This gathering is an invitation to slow down.
Many eldest daughters of immigrant families grow up learning how to hold a lot, responsibility, expectations, and the quiet work of caring for others. This event is an intentional space to set some of that down and reconnect with yourself in community.
We will begin with a gentle one-hour yoga practice, focused on grounding, breath, and releasing tension from the body. Afterwards, we’ll share a simple lunch and tea, creating time to rest, connect, and be in conversation with other women who understand the experience of carrying so much.
