Yoga + Lunch - March 29

CA$0.00
sold out

This gathering is an invitation to slow down.

Many daughters of immigrants, especially eldest daughters, grow up learning how to hold a lot, responsibility, expectations, and the quiet work of caring for others. This event is an intentional space to set some of that down and reconnect with yourself in community.

We will begin with a gentle one-hour yoga practice, focused on grounding, breath, and releasing tension from the body. Afterwards, we’ll share a simple lunch and tea, creating time to rest, connect, and be in conversation with other women who understand the experience of carrying so much.

This is an intentional space rooted in movement, wellness, and community care.

Yoga guided by Shehla. Learn more about her here.

Date: Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 11 am - 1pm

Location: Queen and Spadina (exact location will be shared closer to the event)

You spend so much of your life taking care of everyone else.
For a few hours, let someone else take care of you.

No yoga experience is needed, just come as you are.

This FREE event is possible through the generous support of the Canadian Red Cross and the Government of Canada.
